Dr. Carolina Abrew developed a love for the human body during her high school studies and an appreciation for exceptional care while recovering from health complications. “I knew then that my purpose was to improve life for others,” she says. To do that, Dr. Abrew provides whole-person care, not just disease treatment. “I like taking the time to listen and be part of my patients’ lives.” While this brings her joy, she also knows it can make a real difference for seniors when making health decisions. In her time off, Dr. Abrew likes to go to the beach with her husband and kids, dance to Latin music, and play and watch soccer. She also loves going back to Colombia to visit other family members.
